This thoughtfully designed deck has 4 levels of intensity, ranging from light to dark. You can keep it light, staying in the shallow end, or go deep and delve into heavier questions.

Our cards are helpfully organized into 4 color coded decks to help drive the level of intimacy you want to bring to a conversation. The lightest blue cards are designed for dipping your toes into a connection.  The darkest cards are perfect for diving deep into a closer connection and sharing or learning more personal things about friends, loved ones, and yourself. The two card sets in-between help you land somewhere in the middle between light conversation and deep intimacy.

Inspiration behind the product:

We started asking conversation starting questions on our social media accounts several years ago and they became some of our most popular posts. We loved seeing total strangers who follow Boredwalk have fun spirited conversations and find connection, even with people they'd never met. We'd occasionally find ourselves asking friends questions from our posts and it always led to great conversations.

We chose to organize some of our most popular questions into this deck because we wanted to create something that would help us and our customers have great conversations with our favorite people AND stop staring at our phone screens. We selected questions for this deck that had the most comments, which means they're questions that are very likely to result in great conversations for you and your favorite people.

We organized our questions into levels of intimacy because when we tried other conversation decks on the market we found the questions were all over the place. Sometimes we're with people we're close with and are okay with talking about feelings, childhood, and other more personal topics. Sometimes we just want to have fun and talk about TV shows we hate or our unpopular opinions about food. We designed our Delve Deck to help you modulate the kind of conversation you want to have.

We designed the box with a nod to classic design movements like art deco and mid-century modern to create something timeless and stylish that you might want to display on a mantle, coffee table, or shelf. A conversation deck you have on display is one you're more likely to use, which means you'll get tons of great conversations out of this stylish little box of fun and connection.

I ordered the cards for use in a weekly coffee group. The cards are of high quality, sturdy, with excellent printing. The questions are thought-provoking, and lead to good conversation. Excellent product.

All the decks, all the things

I bought the bundle of all three delve decks. My husband and I had been given the What's Your Word deck by a friend and had worked our way through all of those cards and were looking for new questions/topics so these seemed like a good next step. He and I sit down twice a week to prioritize chores for the week and reconcile our calendars to each other so adding some conversation topics with decks like these has also been part of our routine. It's taken some of the mental load off both of us to have the card(s) be the instigator for having some really fun (and sometimes deep) random conversations. With three boxes full of cards we're looking forward to being surprised by the topics that pop up over the course of using them.

Killed a good night

I made the mistake of totally killing what would have been a good friend hang with this stupid deck. I was able to find 8 cards that promoted healthy and uplifting conversation. Most questions were what you hate about things or what you regret and any other negative thing that’s unhealthy to dwell on. I didn’t learn anything new about my friends, we just bummed out together for an hour. Save $32 and your friendships and just think of questions…that’s all it is. Customer service was rude and they don’t accept returns. Its no surprise based on the horribly negative nature of this stupid product.

All of our return/exchange policies can be found on the Returns/Exchanges page on our website. It states that all items must be in their original condition, unwashed/unworn and unopened, to be eligible for a refund.
