Digital Media Buyer

About this job:

We are seeking an experienced e-commerce professional who will be responsible for driving our organization's media buying program.

Location/Hours:
This is a full-time on-site role in our Santa Fe Springs, California office. Some remote days each week are available following onboarding/training.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the vision and execution for profitable customer retention and acquisition across paid channels including Facebook, Instagram, and Google

• Ensure revenue growth that aligns with the company's marketing efficiency goals, and develop new and creative ways to profitably scale customer acquisition and retention

• Develop and manage marketing processes, KPIs, and systems for analysis

• Analyze data to make strategic decisions and improvements to marketing programs and processes

• Work with internal team members and outside vendors to develop creative for testing across paid channels

• Iterate paid acquisition strategy for continuously improved AOV and conversion efficiency

• Stay up to date on the latest best practices in the digital marketing industry, particularly with paid acquisition

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• 2+ years of digital marketing experience, with either an agency that serves DTC e-commerce clients OR as part of an in-house marketing team at a DTC e-commerce brand, managing a 7-figure annual ad spend

• Experience working with designers and content creators to develop creative that converts

• A deep understanding of how to pair creative, copy, and targeting to deliver profitable ROAS/MER

• Direct experience managing paid acquisition on digital platforms including Facebook/Instagram and Google (experience with Snapchat and TikTok a plus), and achieving a target blended ROAS/MER, and reducing CAC

• A history of developing and managing successful direct response paid acquisition programs

• Uses empirical data to drive marketing decisions

• Hands-on experience with e-commerce marketing apps and tools including, but not limited to, Shopify, Google Analytics, Google Ads/YouTube/Shopping, Facebook/Instagram (including Ads Manager), and TikTok

• Strong writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• A driven self-starter with a strong work ethic and talent for learning new things quickly

• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently

• A results- and growth-oriented mindset and a passion for great products

• Strong attention to detail, project management, and exceptional prioritization skills

• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results in achievement
