I bought the Adult Activity books for my boyfriend and myself, and we love them! He has specifically been working on the Dystopian themed one and has been enjoying it so much! Even giggling at the word choices and puzzles! The only part he doesn’t like is the math problems, which I get to do LOL

What I love about this edition is that the Joy edition truly spurs conversation about things that bring us joy (go figure) without punting us into “toxic positivity” or more traditional “gratitude journaling.” Big hit with friends and partner, as well as with my kvetch-prone 17 year old godson. I hid the existence of the venting deck from him initially and had him do the general deck and the Joy deck and he was loving it. (P.S. he also loved the venting deck, reviewed separately, but I wanted him to try Joy first).
Giant hit in general, whether it’s to promote conversation at a gathering or to “pick a few Joy cards” during the week when hubby and I are tired to the bone from all the bad news floating around.
