This thoughtfully designed deck features 3 levels of intensity, ranging from light to dark. You can keep it light, staying in the shallow end, or go deep and delve into more intimate discussions.

Delve Deck Family Edition is helpfully divided into 3 color coded sets of cards that allow you to choose the level of depth you want to bring to a conversation. The lightest cards are designed for dipping your toes into a casual conversation. The darkest cards are perfect for diving deep. The medium deck helps you land somewhere in between.

The inspiration behind the Family Edition:

When we developed the original Delve Deck many parents, grandparents, and educators asked if they could play with their kids and younger students. While there's no explicit content in our original deck, many of the questions may be less relevant to kids, since it contains questions about things like careers, relationships, and other adult experiences.

We created this deck so families with kids ages 6-14 could have a deck made specifically for them. We wrote this content such that it would keep kids engaged without being boring for the grown ups. 

Whether you're a parent, educator, therapist with younger clients, or just have nieces and nephews you want to bond with, these cards are perfect for connecting with children and young adults.

Inspiration behind the Delve Deck series:

We started asking conversation starting questions on our social media accounts several years ago and they became some of our most popular posts. We loved seeing total strangers who follow Boredwalk have fun, spirited conversations that fostered connection, even with people they'd never met. We'd occasionally find ourselves asking friends questions from our posts, and it always led to great conversations.

We chose to organize some of our most popular questions into card decks because we wanted to create something that would help us and our customers have great conversations with our favorite people AND stop staring at our phone screens. We selected questions for our decks that had the most comments, which means they're questions that are very likely to result in great conversations for you and your favorite people.

We organized our questions into levels of intimacy because when we tried other conversation decks on the market we found the questions were all over the place. Sometimes we're with people we're close with and are okay with talking about feelings, childhood, and other more personal topics. Sometimes we just want to have fun and talk about something light. We designed our Delve Decks to help you modulate the kind of conversation you want to have.

We designed the box with a nod to classic design movements like art deco and mid-century modern to create something timeless and stylish that you might want to display on a mantle, coffee table, or shelf.
