Happy Cat Herders Day! Today's occasion recognizes those whose life or job is "like herding cats." Incidentally, my life AND my job are like herding cats! I spend my days wrangling suppliers, technology, an ever growing team, and my evenings trying to herd my actual cat who is as slobby and unruly as he is adorable.

And so it begins. We're thirteen days out from the day when real and fake trees alike inexplicably sprout inside of domiciles and start pooping presents, and already our inbox is crammed with frantic emails from procrastinators begging us to bend space/time and teleport stuff around the globe because a fixed date on the calendar somehow snuck up on them (again).

Happy National Lager Day! I guess, anyway. I'm not a huge lager fan — I like my brews a bit darker and more robust in flavor — but it makes sense that grim reapers would favor a lighter libation. You don't want to feel bloated and sluggish when you're sending folks to their great (or in some instances subpar) reward!
