As part of our plans to get more involved in our civic future, Boredwalk has selected a special Valentine for February, and our sweetheart is going to be She Should Run. She Should Run is a non-profit that helps women run for public office, and as a woman-owned small business, we can't think of a better way to spread the love this February than empowering other women in leadership. That's why starting now (we know it's not quite February, but we're feeling the V-Day spirit) through February 28th, we're going to send $1 to She Should Run for every Feminist/Progressive shirt we sell.
We'd love to be able to raise at least $1,000 for She Should Run, so if you'd like to help, spread the word to your progressive/feminist friends and family. It's also great if you just want to send a few bucks to She Should Run or volunteer with your local Swing Left or Indivisible Chapter. Team Boredwalk will be in Palmdale next weekend trying to help flip CA 25. Join us if you're a SoCal area fan and you'd like to get involved! You can also share your civic engagement pics on our new Facebook group for Boredwalk fans who are passionate about creating change on the local and national level.
