😒 Two things beat summer boredom:

MAC & CHEESE, AND SAVINGS!

Happy National Mac & Cheese Day! Boredwalk co-founder Meredith and I just got home from our epic cross-country road trip last night — which was more of a roving work-cation than a true VAcation — and after a long day of driving through increasingly congested Los Angeles area traffic (still not as bad as DC's!), there are few things as comforting as elbow pasta swimming in melty, cheesy goodness

Hiding mac & cheese from me, however, is NOT delicious.

Not to bury the lede, but today is also Bastille Day in France, which celebrates the storming of the Bastille ("prison") in Paris and release of political prisoners of King Louis XVI and the subsequent toppling of the long-standing French monarchy by revolutionaries in 1789. Vive la France!
Even more importantly, today is International Non-Binary Peoples Day, wherein those of us who do not identify explicitly as male or female celebrate their own freedom from the shackles of gender-based pronouns and the tyranny of gender norms. Be sure to express support and solidarity toward the gender fluid people in your life today (and every day)! And if you don't know any non-binary people personally (or don't think you do), you should still take some time out of your day today to read up on inclusiveness and how to best be supportive and intersectional in your interactions with all humans. Vive la liberté!

Want some more amusement? Check out the newest episode of the Boredwalk podcast! Tess & Grace discuss annoying trolls in the comment section and why people who give parking tickets and tow cars are the absolute worst. They also talk about selling their souls for money and annoying things people say when they find out they do comedy (tell me a joke!!!). Things also get a little gross when adult diapers enter the conversation — you've been warned!
They also answered a couple questions from our Delve Deck, which is getting rave reviews from the folks who have used it to enhance their summer get-togethers AND is, once again, one of the rad items included in this weekend's Summer Boredom Buster Sale!
