๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ A breath of fresh air ๐Ÿ˜Š

OKAY, ONE IMPROVEMENT ABOUT MODERN LIVING IS...

One thing I can appreciate about life in 2023 is that people are smoking less and they're not doing it indoors in public any more.
Today being National No Smoking Day got me thinking of my early adulthood when a night out meant an immediate need to wash my hair and clothes as soon as I got home unless I wanted to smell like an ashtray. At one point I got fed up and started wearing wigs out so I didn't have to wash my hair all the time. We've developed plenty of new unsavory habits as a species (looking at you, smart phone addiction), but at least that's one that has mostly gone out of style.
Heathers will never go out of style, though! I guess if you save your entire school from a bomb you can have a smoke if you really want one.

Now on to the amusing links!
We asked Boredwalk fans what's been forgotten from a bygone era and we turned your answers into a funny video.
This video shows the artist turned ethereal mermaid, but the entire Instagram is worth a look.
Look at these little cuties going for a dip.
4. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ Impressive cos-play!
As a horror fan, I tip my hat to this person's creativity.
I have no idea what the kids are talking about anymore, and apparently I am not alone.
OK! We'll be back here in your inbox on Friday with more nonsense holidays to dissect, more notable birthdays (and maybe even some notable deathdays!) to celebrate, and more witty content in general. Don't miss it! Until next time...

Peace, love, and fresh air,
