Boredwalk's 2025 Black Friday Cyber Monday Gift Guide
So here we are — the end of yet another revolution around the giant ball of plasma destined to one day destroy us all. How fun!
Here at Boredwalk we've been busy all year working on new products, navigating tariff chaos, and cranking out banger after banger of hilarious comedy content.
It's a lot to keep track of, so we wanted to help out by putting together a little "highlight reel" of our goings-on throughout 2025, and also remind you that our Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale is on NOW!
Act fast, though: midnight on Cyber Monday will be here before you know it, and unlike most other e-commerce jabronis, we don't mess around with those "Cyber Monday — EXTENDED!" pump fakes. December 2nd, 2025 will be just another Tuesday around here.

We entered the year on a low note, so it seemed apropos to ignore the Chinese zodiac's assertion that 2025 is the Year of the Wood Snake — symbolism they associate with wisdom, charm, and elegance. Given how things have played out since January 20th, we feel vindicated in our more accurate prognostication. The good news is that really, EVERY year is the Year of the Devil, so this art will never not be relevant, regardless of year. Talk about value! SHOP THE LOOK
Two of our best-selling designs are Girls Night and Girls Will Be Girls, so it seemed natural that our recurring 3-person coven should have a third design devoted to them. Fans of iconic mid-90s feminist horror classic The Craft may take issue with the fact that our coven doesn't possess a fourth member, but from a design perspective the balanced compositional tension of three primary objects is always more visually pleasing than two or four. We don't make the rules; long-dead Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky does; he literally wrote the book on it. Ask Hecate, the triune goddess of necromancy (See? Threes are where it's at!), to reanimate his corpse and take it up with him.
We then decided to release a selection of our best-selling apparel graphics as premium vinyl die-cut stickers — a.) because this is something fans had been requesting for a while (even though we've been including free square & rectangular stickers featuring our designs with every order we ship since 2018), and b.) we needed a stop-gap release to tide folks over while we navigated the aforementioned tariff drama. Some people have complained they're too small; some have complained that they're too large. We (and the vast majority of fans) know they're juuuuuust right.
Cut to July, and we finally were able to get our Sinister Affirmations card decks imported without paying an exorbitant extortion to the U.S. government in the form of an onerous tariff bill and then passing that cost increase on to you. (Fun fact: foreign governments don't pay tariffs, aka import taxes! You, the U.S. consumer, do!)
All it took was a LOT of persistence and presenting a factually accurate argument to the Customs & Border Protection agency that we were not, in fact, smuggling contraband into the country via card decks. Fun!

In September we released Once Upon A Time, the long-awaited fourth installment of our series of activity books for adults! Lot of fans are clamoring for these to be made into a monthly subscription, but that just isn't feasible. Our activity books feature more than twice the content that an issue of Highlights does, and thus far our co-founders Meredith & Matt handle 100% of the writing and illustrations for these books (along with all our other products, marketing emails, and blog posts like this one). They each take a couple months to write and illustrate, and then another month to get them printed, bound, and delivered to our offices. To date we've only ever managed to release one new activity book per year, but Meredith has already started working on the writing for the fifth book and Matt will start working on corresponding art very soon. We're hoping to release the fifth activity book in March 2026, and that we'll be able to squeeze a sixth book in by the end of next year.
Despite their near-constant counterfeiting by uncreative garbage people who would much rather steal our art and profit off our hard work and marketing efforts than come up with their own ideas and put pencil to paper themselves, we resumed working on new apparel graphics following the release of Once Upon A Time, starting with this homage to a quote about the misperceived fragility of women. Often attributed to either famed Mexican artist Frida Kahlo or famed Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, whomever you choose to credit it to, we like our pairing of this quote with iconography inspired by Stephen King characters Carrie White of Carrie fame and Charlie McGee of Firestarter fame. Fragile like a bomb, indeed. SHOP THE LOOK
Circling back to Sinister Affirmations... we knew the day after we released it in July that we had a massive hit on our hands. So Meredith immediately began working on the content for our follow-up affirmation deck in order to ensure we'd get it produced and shipped in time for release ahead of Black Friday. She ended up loving the bird and bunny characters Matt came up with for the packaging so much — as well as the "we're all in this together (like hostages)" quote she originally wrote for our Twitter account way back in 2021 — that she didn't want to wait until November to re-purpose these elements for an apparel graphic, so she asked Matt to pair them together. So here you have it: Boredwalk's most-ripped off design of 2025! Accept no substitutes. (Seriously; it fills us with rage knowing criminals are making money off inferior counterfeits featuring our work or some watered-down ChatGPT-produced knockoff thereof.) SHOP THE LOOK
In a similar vein to that of our Fragile Like A Bomb design, we've always loved the old adage "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned," so we figured it was ripe for a Boredwalk-esque interpretation. Drawing inspiration from heavy metal & hard rock posters and tour merch, this fiery feminist she-demon is not to be trifled with. SHOP THE LOOK
Our final new apparel design of 2025 brings us full circle — this was the Year of the Devil, and it certainly does still feel like reality is in retrograde. Eat your heart out, Mercury! SHOP THE LOOK
OK! Not only have you made it to the end of this year, you've made it to the end of this 2025 gift guide roundup! Whether or not we've saved the best for last is up to you, dear reader, but we are certainly pleased with how our Cynical Affirmations card deck turned out, and based on the early reviews that have started coming in, so are the fans!
So what's on tap for 2026?
Assuming everything goes as planned (lol), we have our first new Delve Deck expansion set since 2023 coming out in January, our next adult activity book coming out in March, more affirmation decks, more Delve Deck expansions, another new activity book, and more!
Congrats on surviving 2025, happy shopping, and we'll see you next year!
