You're looking lovely today 😁
IT'S WORLD COMPLIMENT DAY!
Compliments usually make me self-conscious, so I can't say this is my favorite occasion, but I can appreciate the thought behind it (much like compliments themselves).
My favorite tidbit that I learned while reading up on this day is that Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow took time out of their crime spree to write a letter to Ford complimenting them on the car they designed, which the duo used as their getaway vehicle. I feel like that would be considered trolling these days, but maybe it was then too? Who knows!
Now these are the kinds of compliments I'd like to hear!

Those are later problems! There's plenty to worry about in the present.
This tiny lion cub is working on his roar and the results are adorable.
3. 🤣 LOLs guaranteed!
Comedian Robert Schultz recently shared a 30 minute comedy special on YouTube and I promise it's worth the watch! If you enjoy Boredwalk's humor style, Robert is about to be your new fave comic. Plus he's joining the Boredwalk team to do some writing behind the scenes. (That's not why I am recommending his vid though, I am recommending it because it's legit very funny.)
4. 😱 Crows are self-aware
This article is all about brains of crows, a hyper-intelligent bird species known for their goth style and vengeful streak. My kind of critters!
Check out this cutie enjoying a nature walk and some snacks!
OK! We'll be back here in your inbox on Friday with more nonsense holidays to dissect, more notable birthdays (and maybe even some notable deathdays!) to celebrate, and more witty content in general. Don't miss it! Until next time...
Peace, love, and compliments,
